Projektbeschreibung

uhrreparatur.ch addresses a clear gap in the Swiss watch industry: access to high-quality, trustworthy repair
services is still highly fragmented and analog. The platform offers a fully digital, end-to-end process to connect watch owners with certified independent Swiss watchmakers.
What started as CROWNOS, a marketplace for microbrands, has evolved into a service-first model that builds customer trust and engagement through repairs, maintenance, and revision services. The pivot allowed the team to respond to real market demand and create a scalable foundation for a future ecosystem around watch ownership — including appraisals, insurance, and resale.
By combining expert craftsmanship with AI-supported quoting and logistics automation, uhrreparatur.ch delivers a seamless customer experience while supporting traditional ateliers in digitizing their services. The result is a modern and accessible entry point into the Swiss watch industry — with long-term potential for B2B and international expansion.

Stand/Resultate

After early concept validation with CROWNOS, the project pivoted in 2024 to Uhrreparatur.ch, which launched publicly in July. Since then, the platform has processed hundreds of repair requests and received positive customer feedback, confirming strong demand for a reliable, digital service in this space. The company was officially incorporated as Tickagain GmbH, and the IP from the academic project was successfully transferred from BFH. Strategic partnerships with Swiss watchmakers, logistics providers, and advisors have been established, and the
service is now live and operational across Switzerland. In parallel, new service features such as a Watch Vault (for storing service records and documents), insurance access, and appraisal tools are in development to increase customer retention and offer more value. All preparatory work for these additions is completed, and implementation is underway.
The platform is designed to scale, with growing for B2B opportunities, and even inbound international requests — highlighting both trust and market potential.
The project remains fully operational and continues to evolve with a focus on product quality, user experience, and long-term impact in the Swiss watch industry.
